RC17 - Comparative Public Opinion

RC17 members participated in the 6th WAPOR Asia Pacific Annual Conference, held at the Australian National University in Canberra, December 2–5, 2023. The conference theme was "Public Opinion Research and the Social, Political, Security & Technology Challenges Facing the Asia and Pacific Region," hosted by ANU's Centre for Social Research and Methods. RC17 Chair Min-hua Huang delivered a featured presentation on longitudinal survey findings from China and Myanmar, and multiple RC17 members presented research papers drawing on comparative survey data from the Asian Barometer and Global Barometer Surveys.
